A sticker (Self-adhesive label, sticky label)
A sticker (Self-adhesive label, sticky label)
A self-adhesive label or sticky label can be used to label any type of product, starting with a label that will be in direct contact with food products, ending with a label for construction chemicals.
The self-adhesive material has an adhesive layer on one side, which is protected by siliconized paper: a backing that is separated from the label before gluing. Due to the fact that the glue is evenly distributed over the entire surface, the self-adhesive label holds well on the product without getting wet even under adverse conditions.
Self-adhesive labels not only provide the consumer with complete information about the product, but also distinguish it from other similar products, drawing attention to it. Depending on the need, self-adhesive labels are divided into separate groups:
A sticker is a label of an informational or advertising nature. Stickers can be a bright advertisement, contain only text information about the product, or be completely without printing: they are designed to prevent the product from opening, which makes it possible to save money due to lower costs for sticker production.
Custom printed tape is a tape with a paper backing, on which the logo of the manufacturing company is clearly labeled. It can also advertise various promotions held by the company, or provide the buyer with other information at the request of the customer.
Price tags: the production of price tags and price labels for retail chains from self-adhesive materials (self-adhesive paper or film) is gaining more and more popularity. Information about the price of the product can easily be written on these labels with a pencil, pen or marker.
Front side self-adhesive labels is the main label on the product that contains the individual design, product name, logo and consumer information about the product.
Direct thermal labels are labels made of thermal paper, which, due to the special structure of the surface layer (thermal layer), makes it possible to apply text information using the heating element of the printer’s print head. This makes thermal labels the most common in trade and logistics networks, because they make it possible to print information about the weight, cost, and bar code of the product directly at the points of sale. Depending on the field of application, there are two types of thermal paper: ThermalEco and ThermalTop.
Application: Currently, self-adhesive labels are used in almost all industries. It is widely used in the packaging and labeling of food products, perfumery, cosmetics and household chemicals, building materials and household goods, liquor and spirits, in pharmaceuticals, auto detailing, in retail chains, logistics, advertising, etc.
