FPO® film (Ecolean)
FPO® film is the so-called “Ecolean”, “Leancover”, “Smart paper”. It looks and feels like paper. It is a unique film material that is made of polymers and calcium carbonate (chalk). It contains a special biopolymeric material. The polymer film is a modern alternative to parchment and laminated foil, due to its cost-effectiveness and other significant advantages:
- excellent barrier properties;
- takes the shape well on packaging machines;
- tear and puncture resistance;
- grease and moisture resistance.
FPO® film is safe for the environment. No energy consumption is required for disposal after use. The material dissolves in the ground within 8-12 months under the influence of the environment. In addition, a minimum of energy resources is used in the production process of Ecolean, and it does not require chemical treatment.
Application:
FPO® film is perfect for packaging butter, margarine, spreads, fat, ice cream, cheese and curd mass, yeast.
Technical capabilities:
- flexographic printing up to 9 colors;
- minimum batch with printing from 30 kg;
- material width up to 270 mm;
- development of the original design.
We offer the following types of polymer film for printing:
- FPO® material 60 micron Light Barrier BF 237, has a gray-white shade.
- FPO® material 60 micron White BF 236, milky-white.
