Paper lid (plate)

A lid made of laminated paper or WalkiLid is a good alternative to an aluminum lid (plate) when packaging a large range of bulk and viscous food products. The main advantage, compared to foil, is its cost-effectiveness. In addition, when using paper, you can apply a brighter image to the surface of the plate, which will make it unique and attract additional attention to the product.

Advantages:

• Versatility: due to the internal polymer layer, laminated paper lids can be tightly and evenly heat-sealed to almost any container, made of various materials: polystyrene, PVC, polypropylene, polyethylene, PET, laminated cardboard, paper, etc.;
• Durability: the paper lid is strong and elastic at the same time, has a high tear and puncture resistance;
• Excellent barrier properties: resistance to moisture, steam and low temperatures, which ensures good product storage.

Application:

• packaging instant food (soups, porridges, noodles, etc.);
• packaging food products (crackers, nuts, popcorn, cotton candy, etc.);
• packaging dairy products (ice cream, sour cream, cheese, etc.);
• veterinary and agricultural preparations (tablets, fertilizers, etc.).

Technical capabilities:

 – flexographic printing up to 9 colors;

 – plate diameter: 65 mm, 75 mm, 85 mm, 95 mm (it is possible to manufacture a lid of a different diameter according to the customer’s draft);

 – thickness: 80-120 microns;

 – embossing: “pindot”;

– development of the original design.
